Driver/Event Equipment Technician

Job Description: As an Event Equipment Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events by handling the sorting, cleaning, preparation, and delivery of a wide range of rental equipment. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around driving straight box trucks and managing event rentals such as ovens, refrigerators, grills, linen, silverware, glassware and china with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive straight box trucks to transport event rental equipment to and from venues.

· Handle the sorting, cleaning, and preparation of event essentials, ensuring they are in pristine condition for each occasion.

· Load and unload heavy items such as ovens, refrigerators, grills, and furniture with care and attention to safety protocols.

· Collaborate effectively with team members to streamline operations and deliver exceptional service to clients.

· Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company at events and during client interactions.

· Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality by taking pride in the finished product and consistently delivering attention to detail.

· Flexible work schedule with availability for weekend shifts as needed.

· Willingness to travel out of state and participate in occasional overnight trips for event setups.

· Ability to thrive in a team environment, contributing positively to a collaborative workplace culture.

· Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy items, adhering to proper lifting techniques.

· Valid driver’s license required

· Previous experience driving box trucks is a plus, though not mandatory.
